Goliath books continues to impress us with their range of artistic and classy collections from some of the world's most interesting photographers with Modern Vixens, a veritable "who's who" of the most glamorous and beautiful modern pin-ups our generation has to offer. (With models such as Masuimi Max, Tera Patrick, Julie Strain, Justine Joli, and Mondopopsickle.com favorite Kimberly Kane, how could you possibly go wrong?)

Yes, the book is full of beautiful women, but the book itself is beautiful and even more importantly, Octavio's photography is beautiful, (and cool like it means something.)

One could easily pick this book up because it is full of nudity and a lot of famously beautiful nude women at that, but the real reason to buy Modern Vixens is that is might be one of the coolest books you could place on your coffee table.

The book isn't a large book but it is almost 400 pages, and there isn't a wasted image in the bunch. Page after page will blow your mind like it deserves to be properly blown.

Octavio C. Arizala doesn't just create work reminiscent of a time gone by, he reinvents the way in which we appreciate the pin-up!

Goliath Books have really outdone themselves this time and truly put together such a beautifully designed book that Octavio himself probably felt a deep satisfaction when he first saw his photographs collected in such a handsome book. (The cover along will steal many hearts and make boys of men.)

Themes and art design that celebrates tikis, space-aged environments and costumes, leopard spots aplenty, and almost any fantasy setting you could imagine, enrich an already excellent photographer's diverse talent. Octavio loves women and respects women and allows his camera to glorify them and make them goddesses for our visual worship!

Modern Vixens is a celebration of a much cooler time when it was Ok to appreciate a good looking woman without feeling like you were a cad for doing so. (If men weren't so attracted to women, the human race might not continue. We simply can't help that they are so beautiful and we are forever under there spell.)

Ocatavio is a class act and Modern Vixens is the book of pin-ups that men and women could grace a coffee table with. It isn't the kind of book you might be ashamed of because the images make women look so good that women too would appreciate it, (and likely would love to have their picture taken by someone who could make them look as good as Ocatavio does.)

There are so many beautiful images that make this book a must own item but our favorite is the image of Kimberly Kane on page 149.
If your scene is all things lounge and tikis, and you love a good coffee table book that features photo sets echoing the 1950's, (and beyond,) you should pick up Modern Vixens imeadiately because it is simply one of the most breath-taking books of photography we have seen in a long time and proof that Goliath Books is not only here to stay, but one of the best publishers of coffee table erotica and art that we are likely to ever see.
